No access to private groups — where real mechanics answer real problems in minutes, not days
No access to the full course library — Carrier, Daikin, Danfoss Turbocor, chilled water systems, and everything we add going forward
No custom guides — if you need a procedure we don’t have, Pro members can ask and we’ll build it at no charge

What Pro Unlocks

Three tools working for you on every call.

Most guys show up to a service call with whatever they can find online or remember from a training they took two years ago. Pro members show up differently.

📚

On-Demand Training

Equipment-specific, scenario-based courses you can pull up in the field before or during a call. Not theory. Actual steps for actual problems. Every course we build is included — now and in the future.

📂

Document Library

Spec sheets, passwords, service manuals, overhaul procedures, startup guides — organized by manufacturer and model. The stuff that used to take days or weeks to track down is in there waiting for you.

🤝

Global Support Network

A worldwide network of chiller mechanics helping each other — no gatekeeping, no ego, no waiting on hold for a factory rep who doesn’t call back. Ask a question and someone who’s seen that exact problem will answer you.

Included With Pro

Every course. Current and future. All included.

Factory training costs $10,000–$12,000 per person when you add up flights, hotel, and lost billable hours. And six months later, if you haven’t worked on that exact equipment, most of it is gone. Pro gives you every course, available on demand, any time you need it.

Carrier 30HXC — Operation & Maintenance
Daikin AGZ — Operation & Maintenance
Danfoss Turbocor TT & TG — Service & Maintenance
Step 1 — Air Cooled Chiller Design
Step 2 — Chilled Water System Design (67 lessons)
Chiller Log Sheets, Maintenance Forms & E-Book

Plus Step 3 — Air Cooled Chiller Troubleshooting dropping soon — and every course we produce after that. Your membership, your price, forever.

What it feels like when you actually figure it out.

These are real posts from the community. From guys who were stuck, asked, got an answer, and went home knowing they got it done right.

★★★★★
“Thanks for the help… I found that the EXV was only opening up to 37% and it thought it was maintaining a 10 degree superheat because it was reading a 45 degree suction line temp. Right now that circuit is running and maintaining setpoint. This was a good feeling.”

“That Turbocor guide is badass! We have been struggling with these compressors for years, and it was very helpful. I showed it to my co-worker who works on them more often and he was impressed with how you guys broke it down.”

Common Questions

Stuff worth knowing before you decide.

Isn’t charging for a membership just gatekeeping the information?

That’s a fair point. The discussions, asking questions, getting help from other mechanics — that’s free and stays free. But the courses, the library, the guides, the developers, the people who put the content together — that doesn’t run on nothing. The alternative is doing what a lot of platforms do — sell ad space, push products, take sponsorship money, and start recommending stuff because someone’s paying them to, not because it’s actually worth a damn. We don’t want to do that. So we charge a membership instead. Member funded, no outside strings attached. The $99 is what keeps it that way.

I’m not really a courses guy. I learn by doing.

Good — most of what’s in here isn’t sit-down classroom stuff. The document library is what most guys use first. Spec sheets, service manuals, passwords, overhaul procedures for equipment you’re standing in front of right now. Grab what you need, get back to work. The courses are there when you want them — not mandatory.

Can’t I find most of this stuff for free online?

Some of it, yes — if you’ve got an hour or two to hunt through forums, dead links, and scattered PDFs. What’s in the library is organized by manufacturer and model, vetted by guys who’ve actually used it in the field, and in one place.

Why should I pay for something the community built together?

Fair question. The community is free — always has been, always will be. What Pro funds is everything that takes actual time and money to build: the courses, the library, the guides, the platform itself. $99 a year is what keeps it growing.

Is it actually worth it?

Depends on how you work. If you’re on a service call and need a password, a spec sheet, or a procedure — and you’d rather have it in two minutes than spend the afternoon tracking it down — then yeah, probably. If you get stuck on a problem and want to ask guys who’ve seen it before instead of figuring it out alone, then yeah, probably. If the way you’re doing things right now is working fine for you, it’s probably not worth it. No hard sell here — you know your situation better than we do.

I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I probably know most of this already.

You probably do know a lot of it. But there’s always a machine you haven’t touched yet, a controller you’ve never been inside, or a refrigerant transition you haven’t dealt with firsthand. Nobody knows all of it — the equipment keeps changing. The library and the groups are there for when you run into something new, not to teach you stuff you already know.

I’m retired. I just want to see what the guys are up to and help where I can.

We are all for it. The guys coming up in this trade need people who’ve actually been through it, and if you’re willing to share what you know, you’re welcome here. We offer a Veteran Membership at no charge for retired chiller mechanics that gives you full access to the community and all the discussions. It takes a little longer to set up than a standard membership because we do need to verify your background, but we’ll waive the fee completely. If that’s you, reach out to us directly at support@thechillerguyshub.com and we’ll get you sorted.

What if I join and it’s not what I expected?

Full refund within 14 days. No forms, no explanation required, no hard feelings. Honestly — we’d rather give your money back than have a guy in here who isn’t into it. This community works because the people in it actually want to be here. If that’s not you, that’s fine. No hard feelings either way.
