Im working on a Carrier – Recip water cooled chiller and wanted to ask if anyone has recommendations on how to flush the r-22 out of the evaporator and the condenser barrels so that I perform a proper retro to R407C. Please leave a comment or send a link of the proper OIM pdf that shows the ports to get the oil drained.

@all-tapz-electric if your going to go the 407 route, clean / flush as much of it out as you can, and you will have to get a refractometer, and keep changing oil until your over 95% POE. It may take a few, but mineral and POE don’t mix.

Have you looked into using MO99 at all? Can’t remember the capacity limitations, but may be a more cost effective solution depending on what the customer is looking for.
