that looks like a demo version you are referring too?
can you connect via the latest SMT? ot should all be backwards compatible for all of their models as far as im aware.
We have the latest version in the “member files” section of the portal, its the “tt-smt-362” one in there. heres the link.
-
Let me know man, it should get you connected, give er a shot, and let me know, i can call if needed as well.
-
TT-SMT-362 you sure it will work no it wont. we are trying we have actually 10 of these compressors
-
@bilalsd1 ah okay, just to be 100%, you’ve already tried and it wont connect? You’ve tried on more than one machine?
let me know, I have some connections with the guys at the Factory I can send out some sos’s if needed, I just want to make sure before I start sending messages.
If i need to send the message, thats ok, but give me a list of everything you tried, and i will put it together, so we can get all of their questions answered right away, and get the software ASAP for you.
let me know.

as wessel mentioned, you do have the compressor IO board hooked up when your connecting right?
-
@the-chiller-guys Ive io board but it is verion 3.x something i can send you or make you a video on youtube for everything
-
@bilalsd1 you can send a video here too, it should allow a decent sized video in the comments.
take a video of what you got, and post it here.
let me know man, sometimes the serial converters are junk too, FYI. ive had a few go bad on me over the years

I’ve I/O Card but it is version 3 and works with DB25 pin connector
-
i was having a hard time understanding the problem before, but now i understand.
i will send a message to a buddy at the factory, and see what he says.

Thank you…❤️ Waiting for solution

@bilalsd1 he said that those are obsolete semi integrated units.
He said without the cables that came with them your dead in the water.
where did you even get these, and what are you using them for?
-
-
So there must be some way to get them work we 10 and fully oky
-
@bilalsd1 maybe, but without in correct stuff, makes it hard. plus everything is obsolete. maybe you can find some old cables, or the MFG specs on it.
why do you need to get in with the SMT?
-
@the-chiller-guys without smt can i run it use it ? Like carel or simens plc
-
@the-chiller-guys smt let me know the logs and everything bearing calibration, dimand limit and more
-
@bilalsd1 depends on the configuration. if its set up in analog, then more than likely yes, you just need to give it an analog signal. If its set up for modbus, then could be more challenging.
SMT is used for config and commissioning.
where did you find 10 of these? do they have the rest of the hardware that came with them?
if your planning on putting them back into service, then yeah you will need to figure out the cable situation, and connect to your PC.

We need old docs for tt300 series. Like they use i/o or it is direct pc or there is anything else
-
@bilalsd1 Have you come up with anything on google? about the cable?
didnt you say you were able to adapt it to the PC via the 37 pin conector?
-
-
Im willing to do most challenging things to make it run. Ive no more then one pdf i found in google but that is also showing db44 connector 3 row. And this 2004 version is with db37 2 row. I thought for the mapping cable alterations but without documentation for the I/O board i could harm the running board or running comprassor. So there must be old DVDS/ CDS for everything factory got everything in their data archives
-
You could probably try a newer backplane..
Also you’ll probably want to replace your bearing sensor cables. That old style known to cause issues.-
@hammershammered thats what i was thinking, but i wasnt sure about the compatibility of the rest of the hardware. and i wouldn’t want him to blow it up

@the-chiller-guys let me know

-

-
Ive set 0-200 for search and if it find something it will drop the search compressor in search gride i will select it and put default slave
-
@bilalsd1 so you are able to locate the compressor when you search for it in the SMT? and your com ports are correct?
-
@the-chiller-guys
not able to locate

only one link works but i need more older version 2.1 i will try with that i get back with you
-
I’m not sure if I’m late to the game but you should be connecting on the IO module and not the port located on the compressor backplane.
-
