Anyone come across these issues on a newer Daiken agz006f series. They seem to think possible air in the system but we havent gotten air bleeding from the vent on the return line after the startup process a couple weeks ago. The unit runs for a couple hours then throws codes and needs to be reset. Daiken is weeks out for serice they also did the start up process and made sure the flow rate entering the system was correct and bled the air out before startup. The main codes are Evaporator flow loss, Evaporator pump failure, Evaporator pressure sensor fault, low Evaporator pressure, Condensor pressure sensor fault. The system is feeding 53 univents and 5 airhandlers. Could the flow rate be changing when some units are not calling for cooling since the cooling valve would be shut?

      • Couple of things to check, If your air bleed is above a ball valve, take the air bleed off and do it manually, assuming the air bleed is at the highest point in the system. Second.. Do you have a bypass in the loop and is it working correctly, 3rd, are your valves on your airside 2 way or 3 way?, this is important for flow regulation through your cold side. 4.. Are your Chilled water pumps on drives, do they have lead lag? Is there a delay on changeover? If on drives is your DP sensor working and accurate. These are all important to know for a proper evaluation of condition.

        • We don’t have air vents at the highest point but they can be added. There’s a manual bypass that’s closed right now. We do have a DP sensor we believe is working correctly but it is undersized. The pumps aren’t on drives or lead lag. There’s two way valves at the univents and air handlers. We’re trying to figure out if when they’re not calling and the undersized DP is affecting and lowering the flow rate. We’re a smaller facilities department at a courthouse so were trying to figure if there’s anything we can do on our end to keep from having to reset the chiller every couple hours since daiken is weeks out from service.
