Just a tip for anyone who might be working on these Chillers.

Was doing a service on one during the week and the history have lots of Low Discharge Superheat.

This would only happen on a Monday and the Chiller was off for the weekend. Going through the History, the motor temp were very low, like 2 to 3 DegC. Anyhow turns out the crankcase heaters are bad, allowing liquid to migrate into the compressor over the weekend and on start up on Mondays, tripping on low discharge superheat.

So check your heaters…
