I’m looking to purchase a hand help ultrasonic flow meter for troubleshooting flow problems on centrifugal and air cooled chillers. Does any one have any suggestions on a certain model they have used? Don’t really need fancy or expensive just accurate. thanks

I am looking into them too. I have only used rentals in the past.

This is the one I use. Katronic 230. Its a pretty decent piece of equipment.
It is expensive, or it was when I bought it.
You can do a lot with this kit.If you do go for this, make sure you get the magnetic rails, that way it will just stick to the pipework if it is carbon steel.

I also have a comdronic flow meter, which is really easy if your systems have DRV’s on them. But sometime the binder points on the DRV’s tend to block up, so the lagging will need to come off to use the ultra sonic.
