Hi Chiller Crew,
I have a question regarding a flow switch on a YK chiller. Is there a trick on how to change one out without shutting down the entire chiller or pump?

Is this a paddle switch or a PD switch?

A lot of time the PD switches will have lever valves back at the pipes where the capillaries are fitted to.
Either was, as soon as you discounts the cables from the switch, the chiller will shut down.
It would be safer to shut down the Chiller, LOTO, do your work, rather than to do it live.
