Hello gentleman, so ive recently started with the school district and most of the hvac equipment used are chillers and boilers. Before I was introduced to this world of hvac I was strictly residential with roughly 7 years under my belt servicing and installing mostly invertor communicating split systems. Truth be told I feel as if im in a whole new realm and I really want to and need to learn these chillers and boilers. Any recommendations, tips and tricks are very much appreciated, I do not have any plans going back to residential I want to continue growing in my hvac career. Thank you in advance and im proud to be here.

      • It’s an exciting career man, lots of cool stuff.

Not trying to come off as rude, however, There’s a fairly substantial gap between Residential and commercial work especially when it comes to safely working on commercial equipment, and the legal requirements based on where you’re out of.

With that said, we can definitely help point you in the right direction. Have you attended any formal commercial training or apprenticeship?

        • Yes it is and very interesting. No sir I have not attended any formal training currently
