Working on a CGAM air cooled chiller. Replaced eev with mod. Any idea why im getting “selected device is wrong type” When i try to bind??

Mod? What does that mean?
It’s probably an updated EEV. You will need to go into the configuration menu, and select the correct EEV Model from the dropdown.
We made a guide in the trane Techview folder in the «member files».
Should be called «downloading software» to Trane CH530.
It talks about the configuration menu, and adjusting some of the model number string.
I think there is also a procedure for this specifically in the «Trane CGAM folder» in the member files as well.
