How to add oil to a Carrier 30HXC146R
Gents how do you add oil to this water cooled chiller.The oil separater is in condenser barrel do I add into the discharge line or oil line right before the pump next time I will have more photos thanks

Hey brother, just a quick heads-up before I answer your question.
A very common issue with these machines is that they get overfilled with oil when there’s actually another underlying issue preventing proper oil return, or proper oil seperation
As long as you’re confident that oil was previously removed from the system, or that the underlying oil issue has been identified and corrected, you can add oil through the oil line leaving the oil separator on top of the condenser, provided the machine is equipped with the service valve.

Hou can open that one.and add fitting and add oil

Do you see oil anywhere on the machine or the ground? If you don’t, ask yourself, where’d the oil go?
