“Does anyone have any information to share on why Trane has 2 Igv actuators on this F machine? Its a wye delta start machine. Curious if they independently position the vanes to optimize performance or if they are just synchonizing the vanes and just eliminated the linkages.”

      • It is because that is what they call an extended capacity chiller, which was originally in just 2 sizes a 1470 and 1720 and then they came out with a smaller 3rd one a 1300 ton machine. I believe it’s just because everything is beefier so they went with the two actuators.

      • When binding the sensors originally there is a place in the configuration that you specify if you have one or two actuators and that’s really it, the software will do everything else.
