      Hey fellas,

      Gotta change out a Trane CH530 on an RTAC soon and I understand it needs programming. Does anyone know what the process is to configure the controller? I was on site last week and the controller shut down and lost the configuration and I had to reconfigure it using model and serial numbers on Tracer TU. Is this the same process or will I need to download the configuration first from old controller?

        Do a search on this site for CH530, it brings up several downloads. One of them is for programming a RTAC

          You do not need the Old Controller the Full model number and Data tag will cover the majority of the configuration. Verify the EXV part numbers if they have been upgraded from the old style as well. If using tech view or TU it should have software builds for RTAC that you will upload to the CH530 then set your configurations such Starter type, etc.
