      Hi Everyone.

I had this call on a Trane CVHF870. Was tripped on oil differential.

I checked the pompe on manuel = amp was ok, pressure was swinging, sight glasses empty. So I added 2.5 gallons of OEM oil and did the test again. The pressure got stable, oil level still not visible.

Conditions: condenser water in was at 46°F

I ran the chiller for more than 3 hours with the condenser valve chocked to bring back some of the oil…not really happened.

Question: Is there anything else that could have been done?

Is it possible to have a bad seal internally and lose the oil or usually is because of the cold condenser water? Logs show 15000 running hours and 180 starts.

      Thanks in advance.
