Trane CH530. Someone replaced the flow meter but did not bind. Went out to look at it cuz its tripping on no flow. The flow meter went back to the board with no connector. I just started with a new company and didn’t have the software or the rs232. Are the flow meters bound on these. I just don’t see how the unit runs a short period of time showing flow but then locks out on no flow

You can down load the software free on Trane’s web sit abd pick up a RS232 plug cheap at a computer store just to have if you have to blind sensors in the future but I don’t think the flow switch is a sensor you bind

@jcardone213yahoo-com thank you sir. I got the software loaded and the RS232 and already checked that to verify. You are absolutely correct, it’s not bound. Thanks for the feedback.
