I’m working on a York YS Style E water cooled chiller. I can’t get it to go down past 170k microns. I have pressurized the chiller and found one decent size leak on the oil separator sight glass and a pressure transducer. I have made the repairs. I did use trace gas to find the leaks and also soap bubbles. I still can’t get the chiller down…

I have a Trane RTAC that both circuits are having High Oil Temperature alarms. I did find a bad condenser fan motor om circuit 1. All the fans on circuit 2 are working and spinning the correct way. What else can be causing these high oil temperature alarms? The chiller is not staying online. Hey everyone i have a carrier aircooled chiller model 30hxa076rz~561ka it keeps shutting down on emergency stop. There is no e stop button wired into this chiller or in the plant. The chiller it self does not give any fault codes other the emergency stop. Thanks guys

I’m doing the PMs on a York YK chiller. Its running at the same time with another chiller. That other chiller is at setpoint and running at 44% loaded. The York is also at setpoint and its not unloading. It’s staying running at 100% loaded. What would keep it from unloading?

When I force the compressor into calibration mode first it will complete the calibration audibly but still stop on SMT. I have attached a yenta of this happening, if you watch…
