    5H40 SUPERHEAT

    I have two 5h40 tandem system water cooled with DX coil , what is the good number for super-heat , I thought between 16-18 degree or 10-12 degree is better ?

    I have not had the opportunity to disassemble a float valve for a 19xr. I’m pretty familiar with float mechanisms but I just need clarity on how this particular valve works. Are we trying to maintain a discharge superheat? Does anyone have specifics in regards to detailed parameters affecting the flow valve? I’m assuming if we’re maintaining… Read more

    Looking at a Trane HDWA300. Curious what the ideal inlet condenser water temperature should be? Its a mag so i imaging 85 may be too high.

    AWV compressor vfd output high

    Issue with two AWV’s where line side of breaker for both units had cables stolen. After cables were replaced I’m running into issues with the output side of the VFDs having high amps and compressors are unable to stage up with the high amp draw. One unit is using Yaskawa A1000 drives and the other is using Danfoss VLT drives. I can see in the…

    Trane SFHC package unit

    I’ve got 8 Trane SFHC from 1990 and I cant seem to find a period correct manual for them. Just got this account and all of them are down. It looks like a controller issue but I am unable find manuel and trane wont help due to us being competitors. Any help would be appreciated.
