      York yvaa gate driver board

Has anybody seen a gate driver board on a york yvaa blow up. I was wondering if anybody knows if I can take the wiring off of circuit one which is ruined, turn power back on and let circuit two run so that the building has cooling. My fuses are blown, so I have to get new ones and i’m hoping not to have to replace the whole power assembly, that holds the gate driver boards. Thank you for any suggestions and or experiences.

      • Yes, lockout the bad compressor in system switches, disconnect the high voltage wiring and tape them off and it will run

          • Check SCR’S , MEG compressor , and check dc bus and well as capacitors . Also check the cooling circuit for igbt baseplate

Lock out compressor that blew igbts on the mustang display and other circuit will run hope this helps 👍🏻

            • Also check line reactor should be low resistance across each phase and nothing to ground . Typically 0.1 – 0.3 ohms across each phase is normal
