      Trane RTAC

      Has anyone changed the ribbon cable to the global connector cable on an RTAC. If so are the transducers on schraders or does the machine have to be recovered to replace. Thanks in advance

        I have not done the upgrade, but does it not have the isolation valve? Can you shoot me a photo of what you got?

        I can hunt down some literature of you need it as well, let me know.

          I’m not sure if all of them have isolation valves. I should have taken more pictures. I got the procedure from Trane after leaving the site and saw that it includes changing all the temp and pressure transducers. Sales guy needs to know time. I sent you the procedure from Trane for the files.

            @ryan-hanrahan I appreciate it man!

            They should have the isolation valves, if your quoting it, I would just leave some verbiage that if the gas needs to be recovered thats an additional cost, so you save your tail.
