“I know a few were asking about this YMC2 Jones where the pre charge contactor was blowing off the wall and smoking the pre charge resistors. Ended up finding a bad gate driver board that was gating both upper and lower gates together. Found by putting the drive into test mode and looking at the flashes. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Once successfully precharged and pre regulated we tried to start, gate driver board fault on the output followed by high phase a current. Reseated the gate drivers and got rid of the gate driver board fault, but still had a high phase a current fault at 1089A. Bypassed the LC output filter and she fired up. Removed the LC filter and tested every way I could with the tools I had. Caps checked out ok and so did the inductor. Put the inductor back in and it ran. So I checked every cap, all had the correct readings. Put the caps back in and it failed on high phase A current. Does anyone know any other testes for caps? Have you ever done a leakage test? Can you Meg them?”

I’d love to know the ultimate solution. I definitely don’t have any knowledge to share or help….but I’d love to learn something new.
