“Ive got a comm loss: electronic expansion valve error code on a Trane CGAM, it was intermt, a few weeks ago, now it re trips immediately when the alarm is cleared. Makes me think the stepper motor gears are stripped. Do y’all know what this description means in the CGAM manual of what causes the error code to trip?I’ve also tried to manually open and closed the EXV, it doesn’t seem to move, but I believe I have good output to the EXV based on the schematic, and considering the other EXV on circuit is running finecircuit 1 EXV at harness voltage measurements on pins left to right at wire harness going into the stepper motor, 24 vdc, 0 vdc, 3.6 vdc, 1.0 vdc when the controller is telling the EXV to close to 0%-circuit 1 EXV at harness voltage measurements on pins left to right at wire harness going into the stepper motor, 24 vdc, 0 vdc, 3.6 vdc, 1.0 vdc when the controller is telling the EXV to close to 100%”
