      Good morning guys,

Looking for some info on a screw change out. On a RTAA whats the best practice on the oil when a change out takes place. I have checked the oil for acid and its test good. Do I need to change the oil charge in the separator tank?

      • No, it’s not necessary to change the oil. You need to pour about 2 quarts of OIL00031 into the suction opening of the new compressor as once you blow off the nitrogen holding charge before setting it into place. You could send in an oil sample for analysis after 24 hours of operation to see how it tests at a lab.
