Working on a York YMC² i am getting a low winding temp shutdown. All sensors seem to be reading accurately. I have checked all wiring connections as well. I see in the manual where you can disable up to 4 of the 6 sensors. However admin level access is needed. I’ve tried contacting JCI so far no luck. They only want to help if you are JCI employee. Anyone have any suggestions?

      • Can you post this in the “Centrifugal Chillers” group. All of the private groups send out mass emails, and you will get a faster response

        • When you go to post it, select “post in group”, and select the group. Then everyone will get an email, otherwise only your connections will get emails when you post

          • @jordan-steiner used to be an engineer with the factory, He is a sharp cookie on these, and can also get you parts if you end up needing something.

            • Thanks for the response. I believe i figured it out. Actuator for liquid level valve had came loose. Still don’t know why one of the sensors was tripping. However right before ever low winding temp event refrigerant pressures would drop to the point of tripping on Low pressure. Verified GPMs to verify water flow was good. After fixing that it’s been running like a Cadillac all day. Before it wouldn’t run longer than a 3 minutes.
