In my york yk chiller, for last three days oil level is being reducing but still within the require range. Due to higher ambient conditions on these days in qatar plant is running full load. Is there any relation ship between load or condenser pressure with the oil reservoir level.

Your oil pump VSD speed is kind of high at 42 hz. Are your transducers reading right? Should be around 35 hz. Oil filter been changed recently? It’s kind of rare in my experience but the oil cooler heat exchanger can rupture internally and cause oil to bypass to the evaporator. Any oil sample data you can share?

@cody-zaradich yes Oil filter changed before one month.

Oil return solenoid on back of oil sump working?

Now the service team changed the condenser refrigerant set point to 25%, yesterday it was 30% as showing in my attachment. Now oil reservoir level came back to normal.

@buddika that was going to be my next question.
Can you send us a photo of the sight glasses on the condenser and evaporator? With it loaded up?
It’s possible the level sensor is out of calibration. If the evaporator level is sitting to low (Condenser level setting to high, or charge issue) then the oil will get trapped in the evap.
Let me know
