Hey guys, does anyone here experienced working with water cooled Trane duplex chiller? Why does the approach for evaporator and condenser has negative and positive? Although the sensors are not defective. Any thoughts about negative approach?

Have you Ice bathed sensors? And if so, have you verified the sensors aren’t swapped?

I believe it’s because of the single pass reverse water flow. The warmest chilled water flow seems to be the warmest condenser water. I breve it’s just a drawback to the layout, might be better with one compressor running versus two or vice versa. I can’t remember,it’s been quite a few years since I worked on one.
