YK Shaft Seal torque setting
Would anyone have the torque setting for the mounting bolts that hold the shaft seal to the compressor housing for the following shaft seal
shaft seal P/N 029-25041-000
The instructions where not in the box when the shaft seal landed with the customer.
The set screws are 144 inch Lb, as that is stamped on the seal it self, so its just the 8 No. mounting bolts that I am looking for the torque setting.
Ch Model is YK-MQMQK25DCG
Compressor Model is YDHK-84-VDDLet me know if you need any other info please

Your correct on the Seal. Use the Standard values for the 8 bolts that hold it to the compressor housing.

It’s normally etched right into the face of the seal normally 96inch per lb

The manual will walk you through prepping procedure, pro tip sand down with tits from old set screws with 600 grit sand paper. Will take you through retaining clip procedure. Make sure you have some molykote which you can pick up at grainger. I like to use feeler gauges when tightening seal to shaft. Make sure you got extra oil to lather everything down.

@brandon-lincoln Outstanding Brandon, thank you. Yep got lots of York K around the shaft and cleaned it up real good. Loads of oil around the new seal.
I have guide rails that drew into the compressor housing, so installing the new seal is easy enough.
I was just concerned with the torque settings, but happy enough with what I have done.
Change the oil filter and have new K oil in the sump. Go the heater on and pumped oil up around the compressor and seal whilst turning it by hand.
Pressure tested, and it looks pretty good, if it’s still at same pressure Monday, will vent the OFN and start the VAC pump.
Just waiting on the alignment guy to do his thing.
Thank you again.
