RTHD
Has anyone seen an RTHD startup, VFD ramps up and slide valve slams fully loading extremely quick, chiller overshoots and VFD ramps down to try to keep from overamping? It is like the slide is broken inside compressor and i can disconnect solenoids and put a magnet and manually unload the compressor. Any suggestions?

AERMEC TBX 2652A HP Switch validation checks
Hey guys, Having a bit of a thing trying to validate the HP cutout switches for the chiller. Insurance guy wants me to run the system to 17bar HP cutout to validate the switch operation but the turbocors start dropping out on Radial displacement above 10bar discharge. Got a Daikin WWV water cooled screw chiller throwing an MHP (mechanical high pressure) fault. Most recent trip was this past Friday. The chiller was operating well upon inspection today with the desired LWT and no active alarms. The MHP fault appears to have occurred intermittently a few times over the last several months per the event…

Evaporator Tube Leak – Need Advice on Plugging Method
Hello everyone,
I have a water-cooled chiller with two tubes leaking in the evaporator bundle. The tubes are 1/4 inch inner diameter (copper).
I’m looking for the proper and accurate way to plug the leaking tubes to avoid further issues and ensure reliable sealing.

Carrier 30XWHP model, can we disable a circuit on the TouchPilot controller and how do we do that?
And if I am disabling a defective circuit (eg Ckt B) how do I tell if the chiller is staged or part load controlled, and if it is part load controlled what do I need to do to maintain safe capacity management on the enabled circuit?
