I am by no means a “chiller tech” yet. Came across this chiller last week during an inspection. Logging info and visually checking things out. Needless to say the strainer needed cleaning.What should this YK evap approach be? The chiller next to this one had an evap approach of 1. Pressure differential on both chillers was 8.

I have a scroll water cooled York 410a chiller with relief valves on the condenser barrel rated for 560psi. What’s the reason for 560psi? Usually I put 600psi reliefs on 410a systems.

I have a York YK that is displaying thus fault. It supposed to be auto restart once the fault clears. It went down yesterday afternoon and I guess it never came back online. What should I be checking?

Hey guys. I’m working on a trane rtac184 ton. This plant keeps having issues where the chillers compressor for each circuit 1&2 will continuously cycle on and off but no faults come in whatsoever. While I’ve monitored both chillers ive seen nothing abnormal really. Has anyone experiwnced these type of issues?
