Intro
I’ve finally found time to post on the hub. Lil story about my 1st year in the chiller world.
I put in for Da***n applied. Didn’t hear back. Took another job… hated it. 4 months later.. I get a call that felt like a come play for Tom Brady call. These guys(2) had 30ish yrs in the game combined. Hell yea.. Im going to work for people smarter…

need to remove a Carrier 30hx screw compressor with two compressors which one of them the o-ring on suction pipe is leaking ,
Q1 : can we pump the system down using liquid line valve and-discharge valve
Q2 : After repair , do I have to add oil to the system? or what ever is in condenser is enough

My company is doing data center work. office is based in Houston. Job sites are remote. Texas , Geogia and more to come. We are hiring Tech 1 thru 4. Alot of travel

YMC2 Inverter Baseplate temps
Hi guys
Was looking at a ymc2 going off on high inverter baseplate alarm
Cleaned the water side of hx, quoting a coolant side flush
I want to know what you think good operating temps are for inverter baseplate at 90-100% and at 50%
After the cleaning I had phase
A-163 B-165 C-173 @Member Post%
A-122 B-123 C-126 @Member Post%
What temp ranges do you look for at 50 & 100%

30HXA T140 comp A1 oil pres alarm
Im relatively new to working on chillers and I have a new Carrier 30HXA chiller throwing a T140 alarm. The oil pressure difference is 47.4 psi for the filter. I was just wondering what causes could cause the filter to plug up. It recently had a leak and was only holding 76 lbs of the 186lbs it is supposed to hold and I was able to get it fixed…

We have picked up a maintenance account and the sites have several Daikin WMC0 36,43,48,’s. I have not worked on these before so not familiar. Where can I get a certain log sheet for these. Also IOM and possibly even training.
