“Hi everyone,I’m new to the chiller industry and would really appreciate some guidance.
I’m currently working with a Carrier 19XR water-cooled chiller that’s experiencing frequent surging and eventually trips on high load surge protection. I’ve attached some videos showing the issue in action.

We have a new Carrier 30XV500 going in currently. From what I understand we will have to download the smart app and scan the QR code to get service access? Are there any issues with this as a contractor? Do we have to be set up with Carrier to get a Login? Also, what are the common issues with these…

“Damn oil heater is swollen and like fused to the well. This compressor blew on the economizer line and lost the whole refrigerant charge and oil charge…..heater just kept chugging along with no oil to heat until it failed…..and caused all this fun….looks like I need a new well…..as well….I’ve…
